Visit of Certech at Anaerobic Digestion Platform of GIS Solimétha

Our OBIWAN Interreg FWVL Project is all about cross-border cooperation!

Last week, our Walloon partner Certech visited the anaerobic digestion platform of GIS Solimétha, jointly associated with our French partners Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) and UniLaSalle.

Following the visit, researchers presented the progress of their respective research activities within OBIWAN. UTC shared recent advances in anaerobic digestion process modelling, while Certech presented its work on biogas purification and separation technologies.

These discussions provided a valuable opportunity to exchange on scientific and technical developments and to explore further cross-border collaborations, particularly in the framework of the PhD work of Sorosh Samiei funded by Interreg France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen. 

This visit further strengthened the academic–industrial transborder cooperation at the heart of the OBIWAN project.
