Publication of scientific article on OBIWAN project

Partners from Ghent University under the lead of prof. Kevin Van Geem (Laboratory for Chemical Technology) have made a publication on data-driven multiphase flow reactor modeling. This review categorizes several state-of-the approaches with particular emphasis on cross-scale learning for developing data models, as well as on emerging architectures. Challenges in data availability, interpretability, and geometry transfer are discussed, along with future opportunities for reactor digitalization, adaptive control, and decarbonization through multiscale integration of data-driven models.
