Kick-off meeting with OBIWAN Advisory Board

Yesterday, we had a first meeting with our OBIWAN Interreg FWVL Project Advisory Board members at Ghent University. The meeting was closed with a visit to the laboratory and pilot facilities of the Laboratory for Chemical Technology.

OBIWAN aims at converting organic waste streams into advanced chemicals and sustainable aviation fuels and will therefore generate technology to mitigate climate change, not only by avoiding greenhouse gas emissions but also by tuning such gases into valuable products. An industry perspective is extremely valuable to guide the partners in their research journey.
